Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information AllRadioList (“we”, “us”), published by NextG Design, collects when you use this website, how it is used, and the choices you have. In short: there are no accounts, we do not ask you for personal details to listen to radio, and we keep data collection to a minimum.

1. Information we collect

Information stored on your device

When you press the heart icon on a station, that station is added to your Favorites. This list is saved in your browser's local storage on your own device. It is never sent to us or to any server, and we cannot see it. Clearing your browser data removes it. The site also stores your cookie choice (notice acknowledged or opted out) in local storage so that we can honour it and do not show the notice on every page.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, the servers that deliver this site (our hosting provider) may automatically record standard technical information when a page is requested, such as your IP address, browser type and version, device type, the page requested and the date and time. This is used to keep the site secure, diagnose faults and understand overall traffic. We do not use it to identify you personally.

Analytics information

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. When you visit, Google Analytics collects information such as the pages you view, how long you stay, how you arrived (for example from a search engine or a link), your browser, device and operating system, your language, and your approximate location, which Google derives from your IP address. This information is collected using cookies and similar technologies (see section 3 and our Cookie Policy) and is used to produce aggregated reports. We do not attempt to identify individual visitors. You can opt out at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of any page.

Information you send us

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message. We use it only to reply to you and to improve the site.

What we do not collect

We do not require registration, we do not collect payment details, and we do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information.

2. Third-party services

Some features rely on services run by other organisations. When your browser contacts them, they can see your IP address and basic request details, and their own privacy policies apply.

3. Analytics, advertising and cookies

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google. It is on by default and you can opt out at any time (see below). It sets cookies on your device (named _ga and _ga_F8BN8WVEHV) that let it recognise a browser between visits so that visits and page views can be counted and reported. The information they generate is sent to and stored by Google and is handled under Google's own privacy policy. You can prevent your visits from being measured by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or by blocking or deleting cookies in your browser settings. You can also opt out at any time with the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of any page, and opt back in the same way. None of this affects how you use the site.

Advertising

This site may show ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners use cookies and similar technologies, including advertising identifiers, to serve and measure ads and, where permitted, to personalise them based on your visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits.

You can control or opt out of personalised advertising:

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for consent through a Google-certified consent management message before advertising cookies are used for personalisation. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the privacy and cookie settings link on the page, where shown. For more detail, see our Cookie Policy.

4. How we use information

Where the law requires a legal basis (for example under the GDPR), we rely on consent for advertising cookies and personalised ads, and on our legitimate interests in running and securing the site (server logs) and in understanding how it is used (analytics). You can object to analytics and opt out at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of any page. We do not sell your personal information for money.

5. Retention and security

We keep messages you send us only as long as needed to handle your request. Server logs kept by our hosting provider are retained for the period set by that provider, and analytics data is retained in Google Analytics for the period configured in our account. We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect information, and the site is served over HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

6. International transfers

Our hosting provider, analytics provider and advertising partners operate globally, so information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, appropriate safeguards are used by those providers.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, restrict or object to its processing, receive a copy of it, and withdraw consent at any time. If you are in the EEA or UK you may also complain to your local data protection authority. California residents have the right to know, delete and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information; you can limit ad personalisation using the tools linked in section 3. To make a request, email us using the details on our contact page. Because we hold very little personal data, we may need to ask for details to locate any information.

8. Children's privacy

This site is a general audience website and is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 where local law sets a higher age). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Links to other websites

Station pages link to broadcasters' own websites. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of other sites.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed, and material changes will be reflected on this page.
